Yes. We provide complimentary on-site consultations for qualifying projects. During your consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, budget, material options, timeline, and design ideas.

Our minimum project investment is generally around $10,000. This allows us to provide the level of craftsmanship and service we’re known for.

Pricing & Contracts

We build projects designed to last. That means premium materials, proper structural methods, experienced craftsmen, attention to detail, and obtaining permits when required. We may not be the lowest price, but we strive to provide the best long-term value.

Sometimes. If the scope, materials, and construction methods are truly comparable, we’re happy to review another proposal. We won’t sacrifice quality simply to be the lowest bidder.

No. Our proposals are priced by project rather than by individual labor and material line items. This allows us to focus on delivering a complete, professionally built project.

Quotes are generally valid for 7 days due to changing material costs and scheduling availability.

All projects require a 50% deposit to reserve your place on our schedule and begin ordering materials.

Scheduling

Scheduling varies throughout the year. Spring and summer fill quickly, so we recommend reaching out early if you have a preferred timeframe.

We provide an estimated construction window, but weather, permitting, inspections, and material availability can all affect scheduling.

Outdoor construction is weather dependent. If conditions are unsafe or could compromise quality, we’ll adjust the schedule and keep you informed every step of the way.

Materials

PVC decking offers exceptional resistance to moisture, staining, fading, mold, and scratches. It requires very little maintenance and provides excellent long-term value for Wisconsin’s climate.

Both are excellent low-maintenance products.

  • Composite decking offers outstanding durability at a lower investment.
  • PVC decking provides the highest level of performance with superior moisture resistance, lighter weight, and greater scratch resistance.

We’ll help you choose the material that best fits your lifestyle and budget.

Absolutely. We build pressure-treated and cedar decks in addition to premium composite and PVC decking systems.

Depending on the project, we commonly build deck framing using kiln-dried after treatment (KDAT) or pressure-treated lumber designed for structural outdoor applications.

Design

Absolutely. We offer design contracts. Whether you have detailed plans or only a few inspiration photos, we’ll help design an outdoor space that fits your home, lifestyle, and budget.

Yes. Inspiration photos are one of the best ways to communicate your vision. We’ll help determine what’s practical for your property while creating something that’s uniquely yours.

Often, yes. Many clients begin with a deck and later add features such as pergolas, covered roofs, lighting, privacy screens, or outdoor living areas.

Permits

Yes. When permits are required, we handle the permitting process on your behalf.

If your neighborhood has an HOA, approval is typically the homeowner’s responsibility. We’re happy to provide plans, drawings, and project information to assist with the approval process.

Construction

Yes. Demolition and disposal of existing structures can be included as part of your project.

Absolutely. We take pride in maintaining a clean, organized job site and leaving your property in excellent condition when the project is complete.

Some lawn disturbance is unavoidable with excavation, material deliveries, and equipment. We make every effort to minimize the impact and discuss expectations before construction begins.

Maintenance

Very little. Routine cleaning with soap and water is typically all that’s needed to keep PVC decking looking its best.

We generally recommend allowing cedar to weather for 30–90 days before applying a high-quality penetrating stain.

Pressure-treated lumber should typically dry for approximately one year before staining or sealing.

Warranty

Yes. We stand behind our workmanship, and many of the products we install are backed by manufacturer warranties. Warranty information is included with your proposal.

Payments

We accept ACH transfers, checks, and credit cards (processing fees apply).

Custom Projects

Probably! Many of our favorite projects are completely custom. If you have an idea for an outdoor structure or living space, we’d love to discuss it.
